1 · Your game on Steam

Back a Steam game. Fees go to whoever publishes it on Steamworks.

2 · Steamworks publisher Web API key

Open Steamworks → Users & Permissions → Manage Groups.
Pick the group that owns this app and create a Web API key (or copy the existing one).
Paste it here. We send it only to Steam's official partner API to check it owns the app, and never store it.
Rotate the key in Steamworks afterwards if you want.

Steam has no "sign in as publisher" button, so the publisher key is the official proof: only Steamworks partners who own the app can create one that lists it.
